Banana juice

Ripe bananas are a alkaline-forming food and one of the very few foods that contain all of the important vitamins.

Banana is widely appreciated for its flavor and aroma (isoamyl lacetate) either as banana juice or a mixture with other juice.

To get the juice from bananas, cut them onto slices and soak them in water overnight. Then put them though the juice extractor with liquid, adding a teaspoon of lemon juice. Drink one pint daily.

Bananas have high sugar content and a recognizable, desirable flavor, high value clarified juices become a valuable product for drinking juice.

Normally, juice is consumed after dilution to acceptable sweetness. Acceptable sweetness has been established to coincide with a Brix of between 12% and 14%.

Banana juice has been known to ease the fissuring of people who have colitis and heartburn. It is an excellent of potassium and vitamin A and a number of other beneficial elements.
